The Clemson Anderson Soccer Alliance (CASA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit soccer club that provides a structured training environment to youth in the Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee county area. During the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 year, we fielded more than 20 teams for players ranging in ages from Under-10 to Under-18 including 8 all-girl teams.
Is CASA Right for You? Player development is our number one objective. The ultimate goal of CASA is to develop players to prosper as an individual and to play at the next level, whether it is from classic to challenge or club to college.
Our Commitment. We are committed to our players by placing them in an environment that is challenging and will allow them to develop. As players mature, it is important to adjust their learning environment to ensure that they are continually challenged at their own level. All of these challenges must be within a fun, yet demanding environment. Technical, tactical, psychological and physical aspects of the game are taught within the structure of the curriculum.
CASA Coaches. To achieve our commitment to the player, CASA is extremely fortunate to have access to some of the best coaches in the state and region. CASA coaches include current assistant and head coaches from Clemson University, Anderson University, and TriCounty Technical College as well as former college-level and professional players.
Training Locations. We currently train at three locations including the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center, Nettles Park (Clemson), and the Michelin Athletic Fields (half way between Clemson and Anderson).
Core Programs. We offer four core programs that focus on different ages and level of play. Our Academy, Classic, and Challenge level programs form teams based on evaluations or tryouts. Our Developmental teams offer structured training to younger players for families that are not ready for evaluation or tryout-based teams.
Other Programs. In addition to our core programs, Winter Training is offered by our college-affiliated coaches for high school aged players that are preparing for tryouts at their high school, and our Summer Pick-up Games continue to grow each year with more than 100 youth attending some sessions which are free and open to the community.
