CASA has teamed up with ZoomReports for the 2009-2010 seasons. ZoomReports is a computer based program that allows our coaches to write E-evaluations for their players. Coaches will be required to do two evaluations in the fall and two evaluations in the spring.
How it works: Coaches enter their team roster and an initial email will be sent to the players. The players then need to activate their account through the ZoomReports website. When the coach does an evaluation an email is sent to the player where he or she can access their evaluation through their account.
Benefits for coaches: The coach has access not only to ZoomReports but the ability to email the team as a group. ZoomReports will show the coaches if the evaluation has been received by the player. All of the information is stored on a secure server where the evaluations are stored forever. This makes it easier for the coach to keep accurate records of the player’s development. Also, from year to year coaches will be able to access the past evaluations of a new player to their team as players naturally switch coaches during their career in club soccer.
Benefits for players: The players will receive detailed organized evaluations that will help them develop their game to their maximum potential. Players will be able to see their progress as there are performance graphs and diagrams to go along with the coach’s comments. Players also have the chance to do a self evaluation that can be sent back to the coach.
