Spring 2009 CASA Photo/Article Contest
Win Up To $200*

Let’s face it—as parents we all like to see our children’s pictures in the paper. Guess what? Our children like to see them even more—even our high school players! So let’s have some fun this spring and keep our web site’s content fresh! CASA will award up to $200* for articles submitted this spring. So, now here’s a chance to see your children on CASA's website by putting your journalistic and photography skills to the test! Complete contest rules follow.




Categories and Prizes:

Category #1: CASA event or game (focused on U10-U14 team play)
     1st Place: $50*
     2nd Place: $30*
     3rd Place: $20*
Category #2: CASA player(s) in 9th-12th grades with their high school team game or event
     1st Place: $50*
     2nd Place: $30*
     3rd Place: $20*

Rules:
To be eligible for the Spring 2009 CASA Article Contest, your submission must meet the following requirements:

1) All entries must be sent to CASA_Store@ClemsonAndersonSoccer.com and become property of CASA. Inappropriate material will be rejected at the sole discretion of CASA. No disputes.

2) All entries must pertain to CASA players involved with soccer during the time period from January 1, 2009 through May 25, 2009.

3) All entries must be emailed within 3 days of the event. You may not scoop up articles, photos, or images from other online or printed sources.

4) Photographs must be submitted as original jpeg files. Movies must be submitted in wmv format. Movies are limited to 2 minutes in length and 4 MB in size.

5) All photographs and movies must be accompanied by a written article or caption. Written articles or captions must be at least 20 words in length and cannot exceed 500 words. CASA reserves the right to edit articles for length or content without notice.

6) One person may make one submission per week. Multiple submissions from multiple people at the same event will be screened to one submission at the sole discretion of CASA for posting on the CASA web site. Only those entries posted on the CASA web site are eligible for evaluation by our Spring 2009 CASA Article Contest Review Committee.

7) Members of the Spring 2009 CASA Article Contest Review Committee are not eligible for prizes.

Contest Modifications: Contest rules may be modified or amended without notice at the sole discretion of CASA.

Important Dates to Remember  

  • Keeper Training with Andy Barth begins Thursday, Feb. 2 from 6-7:30 PM at MAF #2
  • Speed and Agility Training with Haven Bruce begins Friday, Feb. 10 from 6-7:15 PM at MAF #2.  Cost is $75 for all 15 Friday sessions.
