2009 Carolina Challenge Cup!!!

Major League Soccer returns to the Lowcountry as the Charleston Battery hosts the sixth annual Carolina Challenge Cup March 7-14 at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island, SC. The 2009 pre-season tournament features Major League Soccer’s DC United, Toronto FC, and Real Salt Lake plus the USL First Division Charleston Battery.

This is the premier pre-season soccer tournament in the United States and offers a chance for you to see the very best players up close and personal at Blackbaud Stadium. Tickets are on sale now priced at just $15 - $25 per doubleheader; discounts are available for series tickets (includes all 6 games), for 2009 Charleston Battery season ticket holders and for groups (special soccer team rates are available).

Important Dates to Remember  

  • Keeper Training with Andy Barth begins Thursday, Feb. 2 from 6-7:30 PM at MAF #2
  • Speed and Agility Training with Haven Bruce begins Friday, Feb. 10 from 6-7:15 PM at MAF #2.  Cost is $75 for all 15 Friday sessions.
